Patricia A. "Pixie" Camerson

Patricia A. “Pixie” Camerson age 83 of Muse passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 27, 2021 in St. Clair Hospital, Mt. Lebanon. She was born February 15, 1938, in New Castle, the daughter of the late Carmen and Cecilia  Picarro.

Mrs. Camerson was a graduate of New Castle High School and Canonsburg General Hospital School of Nursing. She had been employed for 44 years at Canonsburg General Hospital, retiring as Nursing Supervisor. She devoted her professional and personal life to the selfless care of others.

Pixie was Catholic by faith.

On September 4, 1958, she married Donald Jay Camerson who passed away June 13, 2020. Left behind to cherish her memory are her beloved children, Robin (Jim) D’Alessandro of Canonsburg, Donald Jay “DJ” Camerson II (JoAnne Bonacci) of Summit, New Jersey, Todd Camerson (Kathy Trylko) of Muse and Jason (Michele) Camerson of Moon Twp; her dear grandchildren, Amber (Shawn) Sclesky, Ashley (Adam) Barghausen, Shane Trylko (Alexis McCoy) Paige and Morgan Camerson; great grandchildren, Emma and Marshall Sclesky, Claire, Scarlett and Lucy Barghausen; sister in law Elaine Picarro and many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.  Deceased in addition to her parents and husband are her sisters, Veronica Green and Cynthia Picarro and brother Carmen Picarro.

Friends and family are welcome from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Sunday, May 30, 2021 in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg 724-745-8120, Joseph P. Salandra, LFD owner/supervisor. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Holy Spirit Parish at the St. Vitus site, 910 S. Mercer St., New Castle.

Interment will follow at St. Lucy Catholic Cemetery, New Castle.
