Raymond Tarpley Obituary

Raymond Anthony Tarpley, age 64 of Donora, PA passed away on Tuesday May 25, 2021 at the Greenery Center for Rehab and Nursing. He was born February 11, 1957 in Martinsville, VA, a son of the late James R. and Inez Webb Tarpley.

Anthony graduated from Ringgold High School where he played basketball and was very intelligent and charismatic. He then joined the Army in 1975. After serving his country, he resided in New Jersey with family. He later returned to his hometown of Donora, PA to live with his beloved father J.T. Anthony remained with his father and later with his niece Tanisha Tarpley until his homegoing.

Left behind to cherish his memory is one uncle, Wyoming; three aunts Louise, Kent and Jean; brother James Tarpley; two sisters Valerie and Pamela Tarpley; five nieces Tanisha, Alyssia, Shakeeha, Yolanda and Cassandra and four nephews John, Timmy T, James and Anthony.

Private funeral services will be held for the family with interment at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, PA.
