Robert W. Crothers

Robert W. Crothers age 64 of Eighty-Four, passed away peacefully, Monday, January 29, 2024, in Washington Hospital. He was born November 23, 1959, a son of the late Robert W. Crothers and Edna M Hitchen Crothers Cribbs. Bob attended Canon- McMillan Sr High School and was Episcopalian by faith. He lived most of his life in Canonsburg and enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Steelers. A machinist by trade, Robert had been employed with Legrand Universal Electric Corp. in Canonsburg. On May 28, 1984. he married Jody Ribel who survives after 39 years of marriage. Also left behind to cherish his memory are his beloved children, Robert W. (Michelle) Crothers III of Washington, Amanda J. (Briana) St. Cyr of New Bern N.C., Jessica Ribel of Philadelphia and Casie Crothers (Adam Jablonski) of Carnegie, brothers, Thomas “Tom” (Theresa) Crothers of Canonsburg and Mark Crothers of Claysville, 15 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Deceased, in addition to his parents are his brothers William, Daniel and Chester” Chet” Crothers and a sister Donna Matthews.
