I was Googling old friends and was very sad to find out about Drew. We were friends in high school and worked at KFC together. Drew was one of the few people who the word "nice" just comes to mind immediately. I never seen him talk bad about anyone. Even if people around him were fighting, he had a way to make them laugh and wipe away the negativity. I wish his family peace and love. Drew will be missed.

Man, it's been almost three weeks since you passed I still have been trying to deal with the loss even though we knew each other only online. I really was hoping I could save up an fly out that way next year an hang but I guess it was never in the cards...I hope you found the peace you needed.

I don't personally know Drew--but I have gone to Drew's Supercuts for years. I don't think he ever actually cut my hair, even. But he was one of my favorite things about being in that salon!! What a vibrant, VIBRANT spirit he had! I loved to hear him talk so easily about seemingly anything to whomever he was cutting --- so friendly, so kind, always so sweet and sincere --- just a really special person!! He was always the brightest thing in the room, and it was a joy to be around him. I hope he knew how special he was, and I'm sure you did too.
The world really needs more lovely people like Drew, and it's so sad or us that he is gone. I am really sorry for your loss.

Drew was a wonderful young man who was a gifted artists. I am so grateful to have known him.
He was sweet and generous and gave me the best haircuts I have ever had in my entire life. We are all better humans to have know him.
Drew is one of God's Angels and his presence with us here on earth a gift.
I pray that God grant his family and loved ones the strength to endure.

Mr. and Mrs. Lydick, Ann, and Family: Though I cannot yet comprehend the loss of Drew, a man I considered my best friend and brother, I can only think of him in terms of the joy he brought to me and everyone else he encountered. Drew's energy, passion, and kindness to people from all walks of life stand as a great testament to his life and legacy. Drew was my friend for over thirty years, and in that time, we laughed, we enjoyed music, movies, video games, and all the great stuff we had as kids in the 80's and 90's. We shared sad times, too, as close friends do. It is his laugh I'll remember the most, in the all of the pictures I have of him, he is smiling.
The world is certainly a dimmer and duller place without Drew here, but it is my prayer that his smile and laughter, his caring nature, and his love of his family and friends maintain you in the days ahead. Words cannot accurately describe what is happening now, but you all have my deepest sympathy and loving prayers at this time. Thank you for sharing your wonderful son with us. He will be sorely missed.

Drew was one of the most sincere and genuine individuals that I have ever met. He always showed kindness and concern for all of my sons. He took an interest in their lives and activities showing heartfelt enthusiasm. Drew was and extremely talented stylist, but even more importantly a special person. I pray that he and you know how special he truly was. Heaven is today a better place with his presence. May his family and friends find comfort that Drew is with The Lord. My heart is breaking for Drew's family and friends. I knew Drew from the Fox Chapel Supercuts and he was just a wonderful person. Always upbeat, kind, friendly, accommodating and so willing to please. I will miss those cold rinses and shots of cold air on my neck, when I would start to sweat/ perspire. He always went above and beyond. Rest in peace.

Most people will go through their entire life never meeting a more genuine person then my dear friend Drew. I knew this man for over 20 years and in my opinion if I can honestly look at myself one day and say I am half as caring, or a fraction as understanding and willing to forgive and forget then I can truly consider myself lucky. We have lost one of the good ones and it is tragic beyond words. Go my friend, there are other worlds then this.

Although I did not know you in person, you were really close to someone who I am close to as well as it hurts that things couldn't have turned out differently.
