Terry and children. You are in our thoughts and prayers. A great man has found his way home. The proof of a good man is in the broken hearts he leaves behind and Gery has left many. Be a comfort to each other. Love and prayers. Mike and Donna.

Dear Terry and Family,

As I wrote to Karen yesterday, I was hoping that I might at least be able to give Gery a call, but she told me that he was beyond answering the phone.

As it was, I was left to reminiscing about all the great times Gery and I spent together as kids, especially at 4041 Cabinet. Among the most vivid memories was the time we got a snow day (pretty rare back in the days when your school was only blocks away), so built an igloo in his backyard. Poor Aunt Jean had to spend the day boiling water for us to turn the snow into ice. It's nice to be able to smile a little through the tears.

He fought gallantly for many years, but finally his body grew too tired to carry on. May he now rest in peace.

In deepest sympathy and with much love,
Ted
