Marlene J. (Miller) Kline

Marlene J. Kline age 81 of Canonsburg, passed away Sunday November 27, 2016 in Washington Hospital with her beloved husband by her side.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     

She was born November 11, 1935 in Midland (Houston) a daughter of the late Melvin and Mary Quattro Miller. Mrs. Kline live her entire life in the Canonsburg, Houston area. She was a faithful member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church where she served as a Eucharistic minister for many years. In addition, she had been a CCD teacher since 1979 and a member of the Christian Mothers and Guild. Mrs. Kline had been a volunteer with the Canon-McMillan school district for students with learning disabilities.

On December 14, 1957, she married Theodore P. Kline who survives after nearly 59 years of marriage. Also surviving are two sons; Michael S. (Darla) Miller of Charleston S.C. and Christian J. (Alissa) Kline of Canonsburg, three daughters; Theresa (Edwin) Cook of Sarasota Florida, DeYonne M. (Gordon) Caley of Canonsburg and Mary Virginia (Michael) Glass of Canonsburg, her sister; Margaret Miller of Houston, sixteen grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Deceased is a granddaughter Rebecca Anne Johnston and a sister Christine Gray.

Friends are welcome from 2-8pm Tuesday November 29, 2016 in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg 724-745-8120 where departing prayers will be recited at 10am Wednesday followed at 10:30am by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Patrick Church 317 West Pike Street Canonsburg. Interment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery. The Christian Mothers and guild of St. Patrick’s will recite the rosary at 2pm Tuesday in the funeral home.
