Mary (Falconi) Dalbo, of Canonsburg, PA, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded with love and friendship on October 16.   She was 92 years young.

Mary was born on July 18, 1924 in Lawrence, PA to her parents, Dominick and Jenny Falconi who preceded her in death.

She attended Cecil High School where she graduated holding office as Class President.  Some of Mary's finest moments as a child was learning business from her father Dominick, selling tickets at Willow Beach, and spending time with her best friend Melinda.

Following WWII , Mary married Frank Dalbo in a small ceremony with family and friends.  It was then that Mary decided to help Frank in his business by offering a hot meal to all the men who helped him on the farm.  Her kitchen was open round the clock to anyone needing a hot meal and free words of wisdom.  She spent countless years in Virginia visiting her son Jack at Staunton Military Academy and her daughter Jill at Fairfax Hall.  Her later years were spent shuttling around her grandchildren to their weekend activities and visiting with her girlfriends.

Mary's proudest moment was working up until her passing as the President of 84 Auction, paying social security, and receiving a W-2 until the very end.  Later in life, her number one priority was delivering her famous pizzelles, spoiling her great-grandchildren, and learning the art of selfies and social media.

If there is one thing Mary would want you to remember, it is that, "My home is my church.  My heart is my bible.  I know the 10 Commandments and I know what is right and wrong."  Those words were near and dear to her heart.

Mary is survived by her son, Dominick Dalbo of Canonsburg, PA, sister Yolanda (Jimmy) Passalacqua, brother Phillip (Ruthanne) Falconi; two grandchildren, Heather (J.P.)  Duckworth and Dominique (Jim) Love; her five great-grandchildren, Brian and Mckenzie Price, Jackie and Jillian Love, and Kennedy Duckworth; and her beloved dog Zeke.  There are countless nieces, nephews, and friends that she loved and care for the same as her children.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank; her sister, Fern Tonti, and her daughter, Jill Minella.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the First United Methodist Church of Houston, PA. 213 E. Pike St. Houston, PA 15342.  All monies donated will be used for Christmas gifts for local children who can use a little extra holiday spirit.  Let Mary give Christmas one more time.
