Dad, can't believe it's coming up on a year since you've passed. They say time heals, but I'm not sure I believe that. This is my first birthday I have not heard from you. It really sucks.

I love you and I'll see you again.

It is with deep sadness that I offer my condolences to the family of my childhood friend, Paul Hrycko upon hearing of his death. I have a well of fond memories of Paul, including riding bikes together, launching model rockets, fishing in the woods near our houses, and playing in the school band. I can still picture him in his chef's uniform at Shajor Restaurant and remember vividly the accolades he received for his cooking. And even just last winter he was helping neighbors shovel snow. Paul, you were never far from mine and my family's thoughts and thus will remain in our hearts. Rest in peace, my friend.

I am so sad to hear of Paul’s passing. I have so many great memories of growing up with Paul: playing football in Mrs. Sprowl’s yard, hockey on Canonsburg Dam, fishing at Chartiers Creek every day that we possibly could. I cannot possibly reflect on my childhood without the memory of Paul; a genuinely good person and a true and loyal friend. My sincere condolences to all of Paul’s family. Rest in Peace Paul.

To the family of Paul, sorry to hear about his passing. I am going to miss spending time up at camp with him. We all know he is in a better place now, probably setting up his first tree stand now. Many blessings to all of you.
