I was very sad to read that Rick had passed. Memories came back to me as we worked at Washington CC in the 80's. He had a great sense of humor and worked so much.. He was always excited to get that sub teacher job , he couldn't wait to teach... I am glad he did what he was meant to do. So very sorry for your loss, I live in Florida and every so often I wonder about people I have known ... This was a rough memory.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I remember Rick when he played "Moses" at the church picnic many years ago during our scavenger hunt. Not only did I see him & Jan at church, but I also got him a cups of coffee from Delvin's snack bar at the Meadows when we were both working. He will be surely missed, but is in God's care now.....till we meet again.

I met Mr. Henderson about a year ago when I joined the senior bowling league. Rick was a team member and I enjoyed talking with him every Monday. I found Rick to be a person of kindness and intelligence. I considered him a gentleman and will miss our short lived friendship. Although I have not met family members I send my sympathy to the Hendersen family.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to you during this most difficult time. Mr. Henderson was my all time favorite teacher. He is the reason that I love literature, Shakespeare, and writing so much. May we always cherish him and his memory. He was an amazing teacher and I will greatly miss him.

When I think of Mr Henderson, I will always remember him as one of my favorite teachers. He pushed me in his senior English class to expand my imagination and I will always carry fond memories of him. In Journalism, Mr. Henderson assigned me a paper on Billy Wilder which grew into a life long love of the director and his films. Thank you Mr Henderson. God Bless
